The fines from the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) were for 2 things:
promoting the products for a condition that is not permitted for this medicine, and
health professional endorsement of the products.
In Australia and New Zealand, we have different guidelines from our government bodybodies, The the TGA and Medsafe, than other countries. A lot of the posts that were flagged as non-compliant were copied and pasted from Partners in the UK and US where those statements are permitted.
The fines were not related to our research. Our research is submitted with our products to allow them to be entered on the ARTG and sold here.
