We do not add Carrageenan to any Australian Juice Plus product powders .
The TGA has no issue with carrageenan. The all vegan capsules we use have carrageenan in them again the TGA does not require it on the label as its is so minuscule.
Every so often someone may see the Canadian label and ask about it here, we always advise carrageenan is an ingredient in the manufacture of the capsules.
We are clear and forward with this, given that based on scientific evidence there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Attached is another very interesting document where the Natural Product Association supports the use of carrageenan in organic , however because the amount is so small it is not required to be on the label or on the listing in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods for each of our products.
