Q: Why is there a Potassium warning?

A: This must be put on any label and is the law if it contains potassium . The recommended adult ration of Juice Plus+® , two Fruit capsules 5mg and two Vegetable capsules 15mg that’s 20 milligrams of potassium, less than 20 milligrams of sodium, and no more than 10 milligrams of phosphorus (measured as elemental phosphorus). Two Berry Blend capsules approx 10 milligrams of potassium and less than 20 milligrams of sodium, less than 10 mg of phosphorus. consult with a doctor as the levels are very low .

Products in Australia that contain natural potassium now must carry advice on the label; Juice Plus Australia has taken the step to place this advice on the PC welcome letter from this week. it will be on our new label later in the year.

"Always read the label and take only as directed. Contains 5mg - 15 mg of potassium. If you have kidney disease or are taking heart or blood pressure medicines, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use"

On the labels it will be more precise:
5mg Fruit Blend
10 mg Berry Blend
15 mg Vegetable Blend

As always we advise consultation with their doctor is always recommended.
